potty training 101

Potty training round two with my daughter was nothing short of a nightmare. She’s the sweetest little thing, but was not about to be potty trained on my terms! We found a few items that made the process much easier, and happy to say that six months later she is fully potty trained.

First up, THIS book! I randomly discovered it and it was a game changer. It made going to the potty cool and the kids requested it every night. Verrrry helpful!

Everyone should own this stool! It of course is perfect for little legs to reach the sink alone, but I use it around the house all the time too! I put it together myself and I will keep it forever!

My little girl has some sensory issues, and these boy shorts were so helpful! I didn’t realize the other ones bugged her so bad until we got boy shorts and now she loves them! These are pretty cute too!

With my son, having him pick out his own underwear was motivation enough! These are so fun.

For a lot of kids, being able to cross of items on a chart to see their progress and then get a reward at the end is SO helpful!
