diy nose waxing

Years and years ago at our annual Lake Powell trip my cousins brought out a little wax kit, some popsicle sticks, and some wax beads. Then, they waxed everyone’s noses. It was hilarious, and very entertaining, but we also realized how much we loved having our noses waxed! If you haven’t ever tried it, it’s amazing! I came home and bought a wax warmer and the refill wax beads. I get asked to bring my stuff to Sunday dinner and everyone lines up for a nose wax now! Try it!

helpful tips:

pour wax beads into warmer and let them melt. I always put a little wax on my finger to make sure it isn’t too hot before putting it in someone’s nose. I get a pretty good glob of wax on the popsicle stick and then smoosh their nose together once it’s in. It does not need to go in very far!! I also like to have them hold a paper towel under their nose because sometimes the wax drips, I’m no professional, and if they have facial hair it isn’t very fun to pull the wax out of it. We let it sit for a few minutes until the wax is completely dry and then rip them out. It sounds worse than it is, it really isn’t that bad. You will be breathing SO GOOD when you’re done!

I always keep extra sticks on hand because we always have extra people deciding they want their noses waxed! The more the merrier!
